New Music Friday: JT, 6LACK, and Sexyy Red Lead This Week's Best Releases

What's up, my babies? We've made it to Friday, and that means it's time to slam that laptop shut, put your headphones on, and get into the hottest music releases of the week. This week's roundup is short and sweet due to the "lack of quality material," but I digress. 6lack starts the rollout for his upcoming project, Sexyy Red drops something for the summer, and JT is keeping her foot on necks.

Sunday Again - 6LACK & 2 Chainz (Single)

The title is fitting because, funny enough, this song really does feel like a perfect Sunday. That feeling you get when you actually make it to church, reset your crib, and keep all of your promises to yourself is exactly what this sounds like, and 2 Chainz was the perfect touch.

Numb - JT (Single)

I appreciate the direction JT is currently taking. She is exploring new experiences, which is evident in her most recent releases. "Numb" returns to the signature City Cinderella vibe that fans enjoy, but I am hoping the album, set to release this summer, also explores more of the cunty energy found in "Girls Gone Wild."

Ring - Queen Naija (Single)

Everyone has had their opinions on Queen & Clarence's relationship, but now the naysayers can eat their words while she gets her happily ever after. She got her ring, and she's singing to the mountain tops about it and rightfully so. Have you seen it? Lesson here: God's timing over public opinions.

SHE DID IT AGAIN - Tyla & Zara Lawson (Single)

Tyla and Zara slid on this one. You can bet after one listen that chorus will be living rent-free in your head. It's a very cute-sy girlie pop bop that will get you dancing and in your zone. It'll do well on a GRWM playlist.

Yo Favorite Trappa Favorite Rappa - Sexyy Redd (Album)

Sexyy tapped in with DJ Holiday for this new project, and I'm not mad at it. Whenever she drops, we know that we're about to get something fun and ratchet, and this is exactly that. The features include PLUTO, Pretty Pinkk, Ghetto Beisha, and Key Glock.
